I am not sure UConn did itself any favors this past weekend
since only 31,036 attended the UVA game. If UConn is trying to sell itself to the ACC, then I would think it needed to have 38,000 or even a sellout to convince the ACC football schools that it is serious about its football program. If UConn sold out its stadium to a bad ACC team, then I believe the football school would have noticed or at least ask the question, "If UConn sold out for the UVA game, then what type of attendance numbers would UConn have if Clemson, FSU, Louisville, Miami, and VT came to town?"
